Metonymy
Metonymy is a game about the imperfect nature of communication. It was made for the MA Games Design course at London College of Communication and is based on the David Usbourne collection in the College's archives.
Players are tasked to locate objects from the archives asked for by the NPCs placed around the games world.
All of the questions these NPCs ask are procedurally generated based on information about the objects scraped from conceptnet.io.
Controls:
Move with WASD, moving the camera by clicking and dragging.
Hit 'E' to pickup/drop objects and to interact with NPCS. The game can be reset by hitting escape.
All work by Richard Sherriff.
